Woollen Mill to be opened at Brandon
The Spin-Well Woollen Mills Co. Ltd. of Sifton buys the Christie School Supply Warehouse in Brandon and moves five carloads of machinery from its Sifton plant, with four more carloads from Eastern Canada. The Brandon mill should be in operation before spring and will employ 75 or more people, boosting output over 300 percent to produce knitting yarns, blankets, bed throws, socks, blanket cloths, mitts, and more as expansion continues.
