United Farmers Convention at Brandon Draws Record Interest
The annual United Farmers of Manitoba convention in Brandon last week drew wide attendance and strong discussion on resolutions. Prominent speakers Hon Robert Forke Hon T A Crerar and Hon John Bracken spoke, with CBC CKY broadcasting their remarks. T Woods Elm Creek and Mrs Gee Curtis were reelected presidents of the UFM and UFW as Marceline Day Ward Nugent and others led the elaborate singing and dramatic scenes.
