Norfolk Council Inaugural Meet Sets 1928 Appointments
The 1928 DTH Norfolk Council held its first meeting at MacGregor on January 3 with full board present. Officers appointed include Solicitor J. P. Mackinnon at 109 dollars annually, Clerk-Treasurer G. E. Lewin at 14000 yearly, and Health Officer Dr. G. Camsell at 32 dollars monthly. Multiple ward officials, poundkeepers, and committees were named and bridges and ditch projects discussed, with no grants to a Manitoba Social Hygiene Society and continued talks on public works. The session adjourned for a February 3 meeting in Austin.
