R H McLeod of Beaver, a general merchant, states that some customers are buying table coupons with cash and notes the promotion applies to premiums but not to the gold watch. The watch requires the holder to personally present the largest number of coupons received for goods bought under direct influence, to avoid unfairness to cash customers.

Local church notices list Methodist services at MacGregor with 11 and 7 times led by Rev D M Kennedy and weekday prayer and Sunday school. Presbyterian at St Cuthbert’s and Beaver Creek services with regular Bible class and prayer meetings. Anglican St Paul’s MacGregor shows morning and evening prayers with Sunday school and choir practice on Thursdays.
Travelers guide lists the Wellwood section train from MacGregor at 12 on Monday Wednesday Friday with return at 15 55 on Tuesday Thursday Saturday. Mail departures from MacGregor post office shown daily at 12 05 and 12 10 with returns at 16 03 on Tuesday Thursday Saturday. Post office closes before dispatch, per Postmaster Wm Hay.

Geo C M Tsooth died at home northwest of Bagot after five weeks of illness from stomach cancer. Service at noon, burial at Burnside cemetery. Henry Willmore, worker for James Barrett, died from a brain abscess after two weeks in Portage la Prairie hospital. Delegates from a convention in Austin were named F Radcliffe and Miss Mc Laughlin.
Vaul and daughter spent the winter down east and will return soon. Mahon, in the Riding Mountains, removed telephone posts. Paul prepared portage la Prairie seed wheat. Snow and women slowed work on wiring. A Clemmens, assessor, has been near for about three weeks amid ball games and dancing with refreshments served.
The 12th annual Norfolk County Sunday School Association convention concluded a two day session in Austin. President C Lowrie could not attend. Hugh Hamilton chaired. Highlights included Rev T Frazer on The Child His Right to be studied and Rev Wilkinson on Our Text Book How Study it. Officers and committees were announced. four statutes planned this summer at Elmwood Stinson Wellwood and Pleasant Point.
