Local hockey, railways, and court sessions announced with by elections and congregational unions listed. Visits, travel, and relocations of residents included with social and lodge notices.
Friday evening concert under Mrs Currie Auld drew a full Mason Hall audience for two hours of old-time melodies. Performers included Mrs Auld Miss Ethel Taylor Miss Dorothy Williscroft Miss Margaret Williscroft of Gladstone and Mr J Woodin. Mrs Woodin and Miss Murray accompanied with Murray delivering two pianoforte solos.
Health officials urge parents and teachers to prevent contagion by keeping infected children from public places. Measles cases exist. three parties control contagious diseases: home, institutions, and health department. Prosecutions can occur for knowingly endangering the public.
