Katrime Community Dance and Whist Drive Fundraiser
Katrime Willing Workers sponsor a whist drive and dance at Katrime Community Hall on March 3 to aid the Red Cross with Telfords Orchestra. Previous events on February 4 and February 10 raised funds totaling $9.65 and $10.70 respectively, plus a $5 donation from Frank Smith. Harry Reid visited Winnipeg and locals Dud Duncan McLarlane and families joined gatherings. Montgomery and Harold Gilbert stayed with relatives in Selkirk.

George A. Scott 61 died February 6 at St. Boniface Hospital after a life in Pathead Meadow Lea and Kamsack. He left three sons in the armed forces and is survived by a sister and three brothers. Funeral February 12 at Gladstone United Church. Interment Beaver cemetery.
