MMA Proposes Manitoba Health Needs Survey and Review

The Manitoba Medical Association urges a major health needs survey funded by a federal grant and overseen by the University of Manitoba. The Green Paper response to last year’s White Paper argues the current system is strong, cost inflation is overstated, and restructuring is unnecessary. It backs home care from doctors offices, acute care bed study, and community clinics only as cost-saving adjuncts without lowering quality.
