Council Meeting North Norfolk Austin February 6
Council of North Norfolk met in Austin on February 6 with most members present, Reeve Shaw presiding. Grants of 25 to Children’s Aid Society Winnipeg and 200 to the Downey children via Home of the Friendless were approved. By-law on hogs in villages failed. A. W. Smith et al requested moving 25-12-9 from El Smith S.D. to Image Creek S.D. R. E. Walden appointed arbitrator for the change. Thorn and Snow announced motions to abolish Statute Labor for a $2 per diem tax and to amend weigh scale by-laws with new carload and weight certificate charges for Bagot and Macgregor.
