The second Victory Loan drive aims to fund Canada’s war effort against aggressors. Citizens will be contacted by official salesmen. cooperation is urged amid travel limits. Districts, including North Norfolk, set allocations and committees to organize the effort with unit names and local leaders.
A meeting listed participants from Mac Gregor Pine Creek Austin Beaver Katrime and North Cypress North Norfolk and Wellwood naming public relations committees led by W Vopni and H T Trethewey with Rev S R McLeod and others. Salesmen identified include Cliff Charlton Bagot Lamb Duff Alton Alton and N Balfour with Allan Grant and Brookdale salesman appointment noted. Mr A Brown addressed the gathering after business concluded.

The North Norfolk Council met February 6 and approved by law the saling transfer to John H. Lloyd, set the 1943 assessment roll with revisions later, and appointed H. R. Eade as Assessor.
