Passing of John Mundell Okotoks district resident 75
The Okotoks district mourns the death of John Mundell at his farm on January 21 at age 75 after years of declining health. Survived by his widow, son John W and daughters Nora K and Pearl, Mundell was born in Seaforth Ontario and moved through Manitoba before settling in Alberta. He was a devout United Church member and believed in keeping Sunday as a day of rest. The funeral from the church to Okotoks cemetery drew a large attendance and many floral tributes. The Mundell family hosted neighbors with warmth, and the community extends sympathy to Mrs Mundell and relatives.
