Soldiers Re Union of Mac Gregor Veterans Held at Masonic Hall
The annual reunion of the Great War Veterans of the Mac Gregor and adjacent district met at the Masonic Hall on February 2. About forty veterans attended the evening, which started with cards, followed by a plentiful lunch provided by LO.DE. ladies. Performances included readings from Robert Service, songs by Jean and Scotty Dun, Harry Lauder numbers, and contributions from H. A. Lye and L. Gunston. The event closed with three cheers for the LO.D.E. ladies and the National Anthem.
