St Pauls Anglican Church Holds Annual Meeting
The annual meeting at St Pat's Church was held January 28 in the Masonic Hall with solid attendance. Vestry reports and notes from the Women’s Auxiliary, Girls Auxiliary, and Sunday School were praised, while renovation costs for the Rectory were discussed. Officers elected for 1926 include Rector’s Warden J.G.E. Lewin, Peoples’ Warden T. Rowan, and vestrymen A.F. Palmer, F. Southworth, F. Sims, P. Tempias, H. Merrick, F.C. Borton, C. Hering, John Stewart, and H.A. Lye. A musical program closed the meeting, and a gift from the Women’s Auxiliary was acknowledged.

Bonspiel set to draw curlers for Gregor Club week
The Gregor Curling Club hosts its annual bonspiel starting Monday and running four to five days with four competitions and about two dozen rinks. Teams from Sidney and Beaver join local entries, prizes donated by many firms on display, refreshments served, and four sheets of ice arranged by Manager MacDonald. An inviting, friendly week is planned for visitors, with the Ladies Club event to follow, entries taken with two hosts named Mrs Fraser and Mrs R D Muir.
