North Norfolk Council will hold a session on Friday February 4th. Education Week runs February 6th to 12th across the coast region. Friday night features two league games at the local rink: Bagot vs Mac Gregor at 7:15 and Sidney vs Austin at 9:15. The Winter Club tram on snowshoes is planned for Tuesday February 8th, meet Bank at 3:00 p.m., bring cup and spoon for the rink. St Paul’s Girls Auxiliary tea and produce table Feb 12 from 3 to 6 at Mrs Armstrong’s. Massey-Harris company showed tractor films at Masonic Hall Monday, with J L Lamb assisting. Miss Hazel Course brides-to-be honored by about fifty friends at Mrs B J McCormick’s home with guest list including Mrs Woodin playing Wedding March. A satin eider-down and Madeira serviettes were presented. toasts and reminiscences followed after luncheon. Mrs H Giffin of Portage la Prairie attended.

Lady curlers win prizes at Portage club event
Two rinks led by Mrs. A. Stinson and Mrs. Sealey competed in the Portage Ladies Club honspiel. The Stinson rink captured the Ladies Curling Club title with a silver cup and four casseroles, while the Sealey rink finished third in Consolation earning four cups and saucers and a prize of four honey pails.
