Memorial notice expresses love for Aytnwing who passed on December 13 1990 and William Hay who died December 22 with scripture lines of rest and God’s keeping. It notes they are asleep in God’s care and will be remembered by their loving sons and daughters until reunion.
Bagot and district updates note residents in Brandon Winnipeg and returning from trips. Mrs E Pogue led the WMS meeting with assistance from several members. lunch served to over 20 ladies. John MacDonald home from Winnipeg with a 1950 Ford Sedan. Christmas plans, curling talks, and a church event canceled due to snow. Anniversary wishes to Geo Forrest and wife for 56 years. Bagot W A meets at Mrs Kostennik’s with plans for a High Bluff play and next meeting in January.
Bago United Church held its annual meeting led by Rev C D Rupp. Reports from multiple departments were heard as officers and trustees were elected including H Ritchie S Cre R Farncombe and J Pogue Sr C Matthews ER Pogue Mrs Gordon Nichol. The church reported funds on hand near 5000 with donations still gratefully received.
In memory of Mrs EW Pogue who died December 10 1942 and Mr EW Pogue who died March 30 1944 the family recalls lasting love and keeps their memory near through fond recollections, their sons and daughters note. An unrelated fragment references Scotland salmon poaching methods.
