Musical instruments sought for Veterans Guard of Canada
Sergt. Chas. Kitson of Red Rock Ontario writes the Legion branch asking for donations of musical instruments. Auto harps, recordions, violins and guitars would aid the Veterans Guard of Canada guarding prisoners of war during long winter evenings. Donations may be left with G. E. Lewin S. R. Lamb J. P. MacKinnon or other Legion Executive members.

Community Mourns Accident Victim in Manitoba Districts
Ronald Duncan Shaw a 19 year old of Katrime MacGregor and district died Saturday after a head on collision with a west bound truck on No 1 highway near Melbourne. Rev Wallace Turner of Portage la Prairie also died. Three other Brandon airport painters survived. Funeral held at MacGregor United Church with large turnout and many tributes from family and community members.
