New Traffic Rules Take Effect Across Schools and Highways
New traffic act enforces 15 mph school zone limits with a prudent speed rule and a no passing policy near schools and playgrounds. It introduces pedestrian corridors and right of way signals, allows speed timing devices, mandates vehicle inspections, and requires lighting on school buses and turning lights on new cars.
