Agricultural Extension Notes on feeds and trials
The agricultural office outlines drought feed shortages and urges contacting feed sellers directly. It lists sources, promotes ads in local papers, and notes a Federal publication. It reviews 1961 alfalfa variety yields at Brandon Experimental Farm, detailing Grimm Ladak Ramb Vernal and Beaver performance, disease resistance, and expected future gains. It also schedules short courses at Brandon Extension Centre from November to April and announces dates for the fall sheep and swine shows in Brandon October 18–20 with judging, meetings, and a contributory sheep sale aiding the All Canada Sheep Show in 1962.
