Hydro Gang Sets Poles for Rural Electrification North of Katrime

A 42 man hydro crew led by Foreman Charles Harkess of Portage with Manitoba Power Commission veterans W Onion and Tug Wilson has camped at the fair grounds to install poles for rural electrification in a line from the B.A. filling station toward Katrime. A second crew will work from Neepawa through Edrans and Firdale to meet the main line and a southern section will start within a week as heavy bush slows progress.
