The
Harvesting Not General Yet In This District
Harvesting in this district is not yet in full swing with some swathing begun and the first grain load delivered to MacGregor on Tuesday. A heavy shower Wednesday will delay work for about 11 days, but dry weather next week should allow most farmers to start. The crop overall will be below expectations but not as bad as feared after recent heavy rains. Some fields look decent while floods have left a light stand or drowned out areas. Rust in many fields will slow filling.
