United Church Induction Service Opens New Era
The Rev Wy total charges of The induction into the Portage la Prairie Presbytery took place Monday evening Aug. The Rev FP La will, acting for the moderator, presided and led the service. The Rev Gary of Rossen spoke, praising cooperation with the ministry for forested Kingdom of God progress. Beattie of Austin gave the charge to the new minister and urged unity. Afterward, ladies served a sumptuous lunch and a social hour filled with renewing acquaintances as the church body listened to the proceedings.

Montreal Cold Storage Plant Project Planned at Craig Street
Canada Pacific Railway quarters announce a new five million dollar cold storage and dry storage facility in Montreal on Craig Street. The plant, by Montreal Ma and Marbor Terminals Limited, covers 699 009 square feet with a third for refrigeration and two thirds for dry storage. Concrete construction will rise ten storeys and be completed within ten months, with a roof in place before frost. The facility will connect to CPR tracks and serve dairy cargo while expanding its own business in butter cheese eggs and related goods.
