John C Riley Rested After Prolonged Illness in Katrime
In Katrime Canada long time resident John C Riley died after a lengthy illness on July 23. Born in Leeds England he served in the South African War and Royal Horse Artillery in India before farming near Katrime. Survived by widow, son Joseph, two brothers Alfred and Thomas, sister Mrs A Scott, with Rowland predeceased in 1919. Funeral held July 25 at Katrime Community Hall and burial at Katrime cemetery.
