Band to Visit MacGregor Friday
Band of No. 15 Artillery Training Centre Shilo with 27 members to perform in MacGregor this Friday around noon for an hour concert. Gar Charlie Hillis, back from Italy, will accompany the band and speak on Canada’s Sixth Victory Loan. Hillis was wounded near Ortona after an S-mine blast.

Victory Loan Shield Presentation in North Norfolk
A parachute drop delivered three Victory Loan Shields for Unit 21A in I. D. Lamb's field near Mac Gregor after a Saturday flight. Tivoli Theatre turnout filled Sunday evening as Rev L J Adams chaired and Reeve S C Duff presented the unit shield to H A Lye with remarks urging bond purchases to support the war effort amid warnings that Germany and Japan remain strong.
