The town mourns Mrs Haworthfolk after sudden death from heart failure. She had long been ill but felt improved on Friday before passing at home Saturday morning. A member of St Cuthberts, she supported church work and her funeral was held Monday at MacGregor Cemetery with interment and several floral tributes.

Funeral of Robert Snaith Held at Rosehill Cemetery
The funeral for the late Robert Snaith was conducted from his residence on Sunday and drew a large crowd. He was among Rosehill district’s oldest elders, settling there around twenty three years ago, later moving to Brandon last fall with his wife to live with their son. The bereaved widow, Mrs Oversby of Brandon, and other relatives received community sympathy.
