At a recent executive meeting in MacGregor officers for the Memorial Hall and Rest Room Fund were chosen. President S R LambVice Pres RE Lye Secretary LB Patterson Treasurer KH Harvey A large district-wide committee was formed to carry on fundraising and event details. An Old Time Fiddlers Contest at the MacGregor Rink on May 22 proceeds to aid the Memorial Fund.

Mrs. Isa Belle Vallance Laid To Rest
Funeral services for Mrs. Isa Belle Vallance widow of Dixon Vallance of Bagot were held April 16 at Mc Killop's Funeral Home to Hillside cemetery. The 86 year old Presbyterian resident, who came from Scotland in 1914, died April 14 at her Bagot home. Surviving are three sons and three daughters, fourteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren, with pall bearers and flower bearers named.

Mr. Albert Pinnisch died suddenly at age 62 last Saturday, leaving a wife and seven children. Funeral service Tuesday featured pallbearers Andy Stone, Ed Harkness, Harry Smith, Albert Heselwood, Stanley Cooper and Arthur Street, with Rev. L J Adams of MacGregor and Rev. Hornbein of Winnipeg officiating.
