Fenton Elliott of Estevan, Mrs. Chase Ready of Vancouver, and RC Elliott of Eden with relatives at the W Pennell, George Gibbs, and A L Nohlgren homes. Several guests including Laura Giles and Mildred Musgrove, plus a note of sympathy for Mrs D A Fleming of North Burnaby. Bob Fox of Red Lake, currently underground, also visited relatives.

Glenn Critchlow spent his Easter holidays at Pine Creek, visiting the E Critchlow home. Miss Patricia Clancy began stenographic duties at the Manitoba School, Portage, on Monday. Able seaman James Tuer of the Canadian Navy, based at Esquimalt, BC, is in town on leave visiting his brother-in-law and sister, Mr and Mrs Dick Critchlow.

YLS Plans Spring Fashion Show and Silver Tea
The YLS will sponsor a Fashion Show and Silver Tea in Memorial Hall on Thursday May 8 starting at 3 o'clock. Admission is 25 cents. MacGregor Style Shop fashions will be shown with fuller particulars to follow next week.

Continued from page two, Mr and Mrs J Scora and family attended the Baptist service. Mrs J A Mitchell and Melba visited with Mr and Mrs Geo Snaith for the Baptismal service at the school. Ed and Art Chant were Winnipeg visitors. Miss Joan Ward of Winnipeg and Miss Joyce Holliday visited Easter with Mr and Mrs C Holliday and boys. C Mann and Margaret of Neepawa visited relatives. Rod Shaw drove them to Neepawa. Garnet Pennell returned from Winnipeg for the summer. Donna Elgert of Portage and Glen Pennell of Pine Falls also visited. WMS members with quilt strips urged to hand them to the supply secretary. Articles requested: Christmas toys for six children, used clothing for one man and one woman, skates or Sunday clothes for boys.
