Miss Margaret Ann Scott and Arthur Leslie McCuaig wed on March 21 1964 at United Church on Eleventh Street North West and Lorne Avenue Portage la Prairie and Rossendale Man. Rev A S Bowman officiated with Rev H Gibson. The couple will reside at 314 Dufferin Avenue Portage.
The Commons prepares for a long fight over a government bill to create 10 independent provincial commissions to redraw 263 federal ridings after the 1961 census. MPs clash as an NDP proposal seeks an alternative selection formula while the prime minister and opposition leader would appoint one member to each four member commission.

Best man Don Briggs, ushers Denis Campbell Dave Wise and Barry Freeman. Reception at King Arthur's Round Table followed. Honeymoon travels through Canada and northern United States before settling in Victoria. Out of town guests listed.
