Easter Celebrations In Local Churches Reported
Eastertide services were held in the Anglican and Coie Churches at Sends with a large congregation. The St Gail's Chase choir led singing including Hallelujah and Christ is Risen. Rev CE Copeland preached a stirring sermon from the text Morning comes after night, urging morality and faith. The Holy Communion followed as ladies aided the gathering, and the service opened with a quartet performed by Mrs HL Carns and Mrs Rogers.
