Farewell Presentation For Mr and Mrs Barrett At Image Creek
A large gathering at Jas Barrett and wife’s Image Creek farm honored the couple with gifts including a trilight lamp and magazine table. Mrs McLachlan read an appreciation address while Sunshine Mission Band and Beaver WMS presented items. The Barretts, long Bagot district residents, plan to move to Portage la Prairie and invite friends to visit them at 53 Second St Northwest.

Neighbors and friends held a farewell party Friday night April 7 at the hotel Waltia for Mr and Mrs Sid May. Joyce Stein and Mr Kirkpatrick spoke. Mrs W J Hodge read an address and Adam Ingleton presented an occasional chair. Sid thanked guests as all sang For They Are Jolly Good Fellows. About thirty eight attended.
