Winnipeg District Teachers Convene During Easter Week
The Winnipeg District Teachers meet as one of two major teacher conventions in the city. The Manitoba Educational Association holds its 64th annual convention at the International Inn April 8 and 9 with public open conference on the open-school concept. Dr. J. R. Frymier of Ohio State University is keynote April 9, and Dr. Ralph Pippert of the University of Manitoba chairs a luncheon. The MEA event features workshops on mathematics science home economics language and industrial arts to aid teachers in classroom skills.

Duck Population Goal Sets Wetland Expansion Plan
Lorne M Cameron newly elected president of Ducks Unlimited Canada says present duck populations are adequate but requires increasing breeding stock.
