Mrs. G. L. Armstrong and her son journey to Winnipeg as the senior Branch of St. Paul W.A. plans a ten cent tea shower and candy table at Mrs. R. F. Howe's home on Saturday April 11 from 3 to 6 pm Donations for patches for quilts wool knitting needles and similar items are welcome and will aid about fifteen boys and girls demonstrating talent. The committee extends thanks to all who helped ensure the meeting’s success.

North Norfolk Council Adopts Staffing and Finances
The North Norfolk Council met in Austin with full attendance on Thursday April 2. It approved hiring Weed Inspectors for east and west halves at 125.00 each starting June 25 for 3.5 months. Transfers for Mrs Faulkner were approved, Old Age Pensions for Mr and Mrs Salmon granted, and a grant inquiry to the Edrans Boys and Girls Club noted. The council authorized seed grain funding of 10 000.90 and reengaged assessor H R Eade for 200.00 salary. Several accounts were referred to the finance committee, and the body adjourned to meet in MacGregor on May 6.
