Feeder Cattle Sale Discussed by North Cypress Junior Farmers

Manitoba Winter Fair Ends With Cattle Sale And Fashion Show
The Manitoba Winter Fair in Brandon wraps up this week with a commercial and junior cattle sale at 9:30 and 10:30 am featuring Aberdeen Angus and Shorthorns. A 2:30 p.m. fashion show at the Agricultural Extension Centre appeals to visitors, followed by an evening horse show with Modern Dairy’s six horse pony hitch as an added attraction.

Springbrook 4H Foodsters Meet At School
The fifth meeting of the Springbrook 4H Foodsters was held Friday evening, March 23 at the school. Fifteen members, four leaders and five visitors attended. A new member Ross Stoke joined the Potato Club. Cora Tobolotney will speak in April and gave her speech. The club voted to send $10 to the Manitoba Club Council. Meetings have been at the homes of Mrs. Alex Tobolotney and Mrs. George Bull. A record hop at Springbrook school is planned for Saturday, March 31 at 8 30 p.m. Lunch will be served. Mrs. Albert Evenson, Mrs Reg Winterbottom and Mrs. George Anderson attended a sewing and food clubs course at Carberry with Mrs. Peggy Hood. Senior members will sell lunch at the leaders' meeting in Sidney on Thursday, March 29.

No Radical Changes In Poultry Industry Forecast
