Easter Holidays Close Stores In Town
The town observes Good Friday with stores closed. Mrs H Gitin will not receive. Harry Pearce, visiting Winnipeg, will return Easter week and reopen Monday April 16. Successful Concert by St Pauls Church Choir at Pierrot
A Friday night concert by St Pauls Church Choir drew a good audience at MacGregor Pierott. Participants included Mrs Mansergh Miss Irene Merrick Mr Cowdrey Jl Palmer F C Borton W Skidt and others. The programme featured The Rough Diamond and Tommy Atkins with lively Pierott castes and gypsy and laughing choruses. The second part offered choruses solos and tableaux with strong audience applause. Total proceeds recorded as 34.00 and timing delays noted for an 8 oclock start.
