Reservoir warnings and weather mix in small town notes
Small children should be warned to stay away from the reservoir as frost sits six feet deep in places. Bicycles and mitts signal summer, while Leonard Lamb plans a new locker-plant addition. A local photographer buys a fast electronic flash and captures a square dance. Water near Austin runs low, Beaver Creek arrivals depend on horseback, and a timber wolf rumor settles as a large dog dispute. Local business Lye Motors adds a 50-ton press. residents move into the former Moore home. A flower garden contest idea is floated by the Chamber of Commerce and mayoral potential. A Sunday School pun births a joke about missed sins and a divorce query. Potatoes stay pricey due to wet fall and scarce supply. A slow-handed hired man cuts wood sparingly. no more youth casualties to report.
