Provincial Crop Bulletin Reports Mixed Wheat and Barley Growth
The Saskatchewan Department of Agriculture notes wheat heights from four to five inches and two to three inches, barley from ground level to two inches. Warm weather aids growth, crops in excellent condition with adequate moisture. frost and wind caused some reseeding. Cutworms present and summer fallowing begun.
