Passenger trio sails south this morning for New Year plans
Misses Beryl OBrien Kath Nehmer and G Savage travelled south on an early morning train. OBrien will visit her mother at Yeppoon for New Year, while Nehmer and Savage plan to Sydney after Yeppoon. Also announced is the engagement of Hasel Arundel to Leonard Lancelot. Mr C A Young plans an overland trip to Coolangatta and Katoomba for holidays. Mr and Mrs W R G Peace and family returned home last night from Townsville after holidaying at Picnic Bay Magnetic Island.
