France and Bavarian Forces Stir Conflict Across Europe
Dispatches describe Elector of Bavaria rising in power, Monasterode rewarded, and a large French allied force preparing for a winter campaign. Reports note sieges at Ruremonde and Liege, fortifications at Boufflers and Tongeren, and Bavarian efforts to press on the Rhine while Spanish actions grow uncertain. Journal notes flotillas, bombardments, and troop movements across Europe amid political intrigue.
