Confedrate Army notes Fall of Liege Citadel and Capitulation
From the Confederate Army near Liege on October 30, General Coborn ordered batteries moved to attack the Chartreuse but delays prevented a formal breach until the night of the 28th. A parallel line was prepared, casualties ran high with 30 killed and many wounded. French Parley led to a capitulation offer. Marlborough refused all but four cannons and honor, and the garrison was to march to Astwerp tomorrow.
