Highwayman Robs Ladies Near Speidhunt Comaton

On Tuesday evening Lady Harcourt and companions were driven to a Tunbridge ball when a single highwayman stopped them near Speidhunt Comaton. He demanded jewels after stealing nearly all their money. The driver, who had previously left the horses, grabbed the assailant, who freed himself and fired a pistol at the driver, missing as it snapped.
