Damages to English merchant ship repaired in Spain

The London Gazette reports that damages from a May attack by Spanish xebecoes on an English merchant ship were repaired at Cartagena. Spain will cover wounded crew care, indemnify the captain for lost time, and reward the passenger who lost an arm. It also notes Ireland’s proclamation to curb smuggling from the Isle of Man and local bankruptcy notices.
