An Assault on Hart and a Global Diplomatic Patchwork
Fragmented report narrates a sentence to stand in the pillory at Charing Cross and Covent Garden, a 13s 4d fine, and three years of good behaviour. It also covers Capri-like dispatches: Corsican exploits, Genoese armistice, Parma artillery transfers, Corsican rebels, and a Dantzick letter on a Polish constitutional debate amid European power shifts. It notes Naples news of Don Carlos appointing Corfini, Prince of the Pope, as Grandee and Viceroy, and various European court intrigues.
