Letter from Alexander on British policy toward America
The writer denounces Britain's planned coercive measures against the American colonies and laments the king’s advisers. He argues Parliament risks provoking revolt, questions the legality of sending Hanoverians, and warns that threats will harden colonial resolve while uniting Americans against Britain.
