London News Roundup of Lotteries and Local Disasters
The ledger reports the state lottery drawing with several prize numbers and values, a Ramsgate fish price spike, multiple deaths including notable figures, a London crime recording a robbery arrest, and a City of London court’s term sittings. It also notes a masthead letter defending a judgment, social satires about a poet, and various parliamentary and local notices. The piece blends crime, commerce, and social notices in a dense 18th century page segment.
