Marlborough Races at Marlborough Downs Purse and Plates
Marlborough Wiltshire hosts three race days August 26 27 and 28 on the Marlborough Downs. Purse of fifty guineas for mares and geldings never won a King's Plate, up to eleven-stone. Second race offers twenty guineas for horses never winning above a plate. Third plate of twenty pounds for gallopers under fourteen hands with nine stone weight. Entries due on day, with entry fees and notices of assembly each night.
