Plans for Marlborough and Crums Kirk races in Wiltshire and Lancashire detail purses, weights, entry fees, and conditions. Marlborough events include two plates with stakes and penalties. entrants face four year old restrictions and governing officials. Ormskirk racing notes announce August fixtures, purses of forty to fifty pounds, entry rules, and local酒cocking and assemblies.
The notice lists purses of fifty pounds for races on the New Court of Gally Wood Common with horses never winning five pounds, a best of three two mile heats, and a four mile heats for hunters. Entries must be made at the Black Boy in Chelmsford before running, with events including balls and concerts on successive days. Stewards are listed for Chelmsford race pages.
The 23 August Stockport meetings offer purses of fifty pounds for four to five year olds and horses carrying varied weights with four mile heats.
