Royal visit expected for Bruns wick reception at Potzdam

From the Loxnoon GazeTTE Berlin July 7 the Duke and hereditary Prince and Princess and Princess Elizabeth of Brunswick are expected at Potzdam tomorrow or next day where preparations have been made for their reception and amusement. Also notices of bankruptcies, royal entertainments, and various court and naval affairs are described with Baltic and colonial sketches and plans for Indian relations.

A 18th century letter from Hugh Owen appeals to Gentlemen and clergy of Fembrooke County to back his bid for the vacant parliamentary seat after Sir John Phillips's death. He cites past service and duty to Sauvrone, promising fidelity and ongoing attention to local interests. The missive is dated July 4, 1954 and forwarded as a plea for influence and approval.
