Admiralty Board admits many wounded into Greenwich Hospital
Friday at the Admiralty Office a large attendance marked the admission of wounded seamen into Greenwich Hospital. About one hundred were admitted as in and out pensioners. Last week the Cape of Good Hope shipment included a ship of 800 tons carrying coals and flour. The coal cost in the port was food and its transport to the Cape will run to 6000 pounds more. Flour is sent because mills are scarce despite wheat plenty to support military and other needs.
