Navy Office Notice on Bills and Interest
The Navy Office issues notice to holders of bills with interest maturing in April and June last to present them by the third day of February to receive tallies and orders on land tax for the year. Bills bearing interest at four percent will be exchanged at the Navy Treasurer’s Broad Street office for principal sums and any changes due.
