Notice of Treasurers to pay Marshalsea Prison relief funds
A historic notice warns county treasurers in England and Wales to pay overdue sums for the relief of Marshalsea Prison prisoners and to send their names and addresses to the Crown Clerk. If not complied with by the next term, the Court of King’s Bench will move against defaulting treasurers through Abraham Odall and James Firingald at the Elephant and Castle.
