Monster Sea Creature Captured After Furious Battle
A strange sea marvel described as five yards long with a horse tail and long hair was hunted by fishermen who wounded it with a harpoon and other weapons until it bled out and died on the shore. A letter from Bastia in Corsica dated July 30 reports Corsican unrest, troop movements, and supply duties, plus naval actions near Cadiz.
