Price of a French privateer near Falmouth intercepts a brig
This morning arrived His Majestys armed cutter Dover with Lieutenant William Sharp from a cruise. The French privateer Take Care of Him carried two four pounders and six swivels, with 28 men. She stayed a mile off the harbour all Sunday watching a brig that sailed from this port. Dover boarded her boat and discovered the vessel as night fell after she attempted to board the brig.
